Pioneer PL-7L: A rare and highly-regarded turntable with excellent design! The Pioneer PL-7L, released in 1984 during the "Gold Era" of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a well-crafted direct drive turntable that sounds as good as it looks. Pioneer turntables from this era are renowned for their high quality and great sound, and this PL-7L is no exception.

By virtue of the PL-7L's extremely solid construction and oversized platter, pitch accuracy is phenomenal. This turntable has low wow and flutter 0.008% [WRMS, FG direct reading]. This turntable is in very good condition, with only minor aging overall (see pictures). There's minor scratches and wood chipping on the body.

The dust cover has some scratches (Please see picture and refer to dust cover policy below) The tonearm does not lift up at the end of records. However, the unit has been tested by our professional technician, confirming its otherwise flawless operation. Both 33 and 45 settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is like clockwork. Power Supply : 100V 12W 50/60 Hz. Though it is unlikely to happen due to our meticulous packaging procedures, turntable dust covers do occasionally break in transit.

The dust cover should therefore be treated as a free gift. Since items are in used condition, they don't have the transit screws sometimes. We kindly ask for your understanding. Please check the power requirements for this device and the specifications of your power supply.
